DESCRIPTION:The theme of this concert will be “Share Christmas with Love”.  The children and their teachers will present a number of songs\, dances\, plays and sketches. \nLocation: Markham Peoples Community Church\, at 22 Esna Park Dr\, Markham\, ON L3R 1E1. \nTime: 6 – 8 pm. \nThere will be 2 lucky draws during the concert. \n\nChildren’s Art – Canvas art pieces created by the individual classes for auction.\nWin real prizes – Purchase tickets in support of Sick Kids Foundation. 50% of the proceeds will go to Sick Kids and the other 50% will go to the purchase of padded flooring for the School Gymnasium. DESCRIPTION:DRESS CODE POLICY FOR ALL STUDENTS \nIncludes Toddler\, Casa\, JK/SK & Elementary (except the Infant Program) \nThe purpose of Sunrise Montessori School Dress Code Policy is to clearly define acceptable student attire. The objective of the policy is to promote an atmosphere for academic success and confidence building within a prepared environment. We ask of parents/guardians and friend of the school community to help maintain an orderly school environment and to respect the policies of our school. As our goal is to maintain attire consistency\, we require parental commitment and support for the success of this policy. \nIt is mandatory for all students to be wearing the official SMS uniform during official school hours including field trips. Field Trips are applicable only to Casa & Elementary students. Please refer to the pictures above. \nThe dress code is as follows: \n\nWhite/Blue Polo T-shirt/Field trip T-shirt/Anti-Bullying T-shirt with SMS logo with Tunic/Skort/Pants.\nCardigan with SMS crest.\nPink Anti-Bullying Polo T-shirt (every Friday).\nGreen Polo T-shirt (for field trips).\n\n

SUMMARY:Observe Parking & Traffic Laws
DESCRIPTION:Parking at Surrounding Offices \nAll parents are to refrain from parking at any other neighboring companies\, especially at Portserv International Ltd located at 201 Amber Street. Cars from Sunrise parents parked in their premises will be subject to tow and tagged at the owner’s expense. \nAs per their letter to our school\, which I will quote “Our company cannot expose itself to liability issues that may result from an incident caused by your patron however microscopic the probability of its occurrence”. \nPlease note that there is a tow truck stationed at that company to execute the above. \nObserve Traffic Laws \nThe speed limit in our parking lot is 20 km/h. Please drive slowly and DO NOT drive against the traffic. Laws are in full effect for handicapped spaces. Violators are subject to a fine by the York Region Police Department. Come to a complete stop at stop signs and yield to traffic with right-of-way.
