SUMMARY:Pink T-Shirt Day (Anti-Bullying Campaign)
DESCRIPTION:Sunrise Montessori School strongly supports Anti-Bullying Day. It is a day when people wear mainly a pink shirt to symbolize a stand against bullying\, an idea that originated in Canada. We encourage everyone to practice kindness and wear pink to symbolize that you do not tolerate bullying. Will you join in with us by wearing pink today? \nOn February 26\, 2025\, we encourage everyone to practice kindness and wear pink to symbolize that you do not tolerate bullying. \nThe original event was organized by David Shepherd and Travis Price of Berwick\, Nova Scotia\, who in 2007 bought and distributed 50 pink shirts after male ninth grade student Chuck McNeill was bullied for wearing a pink shirt during the first day of school. In 2012\, the United Nations declared May 4 as Anti-Bullying Day. \n \n

DESCRIPTION:Picture Day (ALL Classes) will take place on March 26 and 27\, 2025. They serve as wonderful and precious memories for all parents\, guardians\, students and staff of Sunrise Montessori. DESCRIPTION:Dear Parents\, \nThe registration is now OPEN for the coming School Year starting on September 2026. The 2026-2027 re-enrolment form is available by clicking here.  We encourage parents to re-enrol early and promptly as spaces will not be reserved once a class has reached its intended teacher-student ratio. \nTo register\, please fill out the form electronically and save it\, after which you can print out and sign the form manually if you are unable to sign it. \nPlease submit the completed\, signed form to office@sunrisemontessori.ca. All Registrations are considered complete upon receipt of the completed registration form with the PAID total tuition and activity fees. \nPlease note that the above registration process applies to ALL students (including the students registered with York Region Childcare Services). \nPlease register as soon as possible to avoid any disappointment. The enrolment is based on first come first serve basis and subject to space availability. \nThe Infant & Toddler Programs have all reached their maximum capacity for the new school year starting September 2026. \nWe have few spaces left for the Pre-School\, JK/SK and the Elementary Program for the coming school year 2026-2027.
