DESCRIPTION:In 2025\, we will enter the Year of the Snake\, a sign known for its enigmatic and introspective nature. The Year of Wood Snake will begin on January 29th\, 2025 (Chinese New Year) and end on February 16th\, 2026. \nAccording to the Chinese Zodiac\, the Snake is the sixth animal in the 12-year Chinese zodiac cycle\, following the Dragon and preceding the Horse. Known for its enigmatic\, intuitive\, and wise nature\, the Snake embodies a unique blend of charm and mystery. People born in the Year of the Snake are often perceived as graceful\, analytical\, and insightful\, with a deep-seated need for introspection and personal growth. \nWithin the Chinese culture\, the Chinese New Year is the most important celebration\, an occasion for familiar reunion and party. \nWe will celebrate this auspicious event on – Wednesday\, January 29\, 2025. \n\nTeachers will organize individual class party.\nParents help to bring in New Year goodies and other foods.\nWe encourage all parents to dress up your child/ren in festive attires.\n\nSunrise Montessori wishes ALL families and Staff — KUNG HEI FATT CHOY !  \nHappiness and Prosperity throughout the New Year.  \n祝 你 新 的 一 年 快 乐 幸 福。\nClick here to read what the 15 days of Chinese New Year means. \n
